Kathleen Watson, CEO

Kathleen Watson serves as the founder and  CEO of Wellness For America. In her previous role as General Manager for Tampa Sports Academy she was responsible for the build out of the Tampa Sports Academy facility as well as the operations. Her work had her partnering extensively with the Tampa Sports Academy medical partners, Orthopedic Medical Group (OMG) and Advanced Rehabilitation, and the South Tampa community. She chaired the annual fund raising events for Tampa Sports Academy and worked closely with non-profits that were recipients of fundraising efforts. After completing her Master's degree in 2000 Ms. Watson began her career as a government contractor where she served in a variety of roles in the development of software. She later managed IT programs and contracts while working hands on with clients to create organizational improvement through Business Process Re-Engineering (BPR) and Organizational Development (OD) programs to support US Government (USG) Executives. She later developed and ran a business development organization for an IT company and then created a new business area for a Fortune 500 company. Her broad experience in all facets of business and particularly in the highly classified USG led her to create W2 Associates, Inc. where she supported customers with challenges ranging from business planning and operational excellence to technology development and placement to sales growth and staffing. She provided counsel, services or products to her clients depending on the need. Throughout her career she has credited her success to taking the time to develop deep relationships with customers, colleagues, and partners and establishing trust, a philosophy she plans to carry over into Wellness For America. Ms. Watson has led or been on the leadership team for three start-up businesses and has partnered with non-profits over the last five years in fund raising efforts to support their organizations and the Tampa Bay community. Ms. Watson has been an athlete her entire life where she was a competitive figure skater and avid skier with a passion for backpacking, running, yoga and training.  She is also a professional singer and song writer  for which she has been Grammy nominated . In her free time Ms. Watson enjoys spending time with her family, friends and pets, cooking and world travel.

Eileen Conway

Eileen Conway is a human resources professional with a successful 30 year career in government service and corporate America. Ms. Conway began her career working for the National Security Agency (NSA) in a variety of roles, including a six-year assignment in West Germany. Ms. Conway retired from Northrop Grumman Corporation in 2014. During her career she managed employment, employee and labor relations, equal employment opportunities and affirmative action, compensation, benefits, safety & health, training and development, and dispute resolution/mediation. Ms. Conway also has extensive experience in the creation and distribution of policy and compliance through various platforms, tech editing and proposal writing. She is happy to be joining Wellness For America as a board member and bringing her considerable expertise to the organization. Ms. Conway hails from Baltimore, Maryland and after returning from her overseas government assignment moved to Colorado where she lived for 33 years. She now resides in Port Isabel, Texas with her husband where in her spare time she enjoys event planning and execution within her community, fishing, travel, crocheting, knitting and spending time with her two grown children. 

Jim Watson

Jim  Watson has worked the last 25 years of his career in the construction materials industry. He spent the majority of his time functioning as the National Director of Sales in the tele-communications industry working on negotiating contracts with accounts such as AT&T, Verizon and Century Link for his organization. In addition to working on national contracts, he established the national sales team and national distribution to support the infrastructure needed for success. Mr. Watson has been involved in coaching sports for over 25 years at the community and high school level. Over the past 15 years, he has also volunteered as a youth mentor for several organizations such as Big Brother/Sister, Shiloh House and Save Our Youth. He has always had a keen interest in our youth and  currently volunteers in a variety of projects through his community church. Mr. Watson served in the U. S. Army, 1st Cavalry Division, from 1965-1968 and is a Vietnam Veteran (1966-1967). He has been a member of the American Legion for over 40 years. He also supports other military organizations such as Wounded Warriors and Disabled Veterans. Mr. Watson was asked to serve as a member of the Board of Directors for Wellness For America and he looks forward to working to assist in generating successful physical fitness, wellness and education programs for this organization.
